Corporate identity package for Atlas International Security. The company wanted new materials to market to building management companies, homeowners’ associations, hotels and hospitals.

Research on the company’s field and competitors gave me a timetable for production: when each market held its big regional trade shows and conferences.

First to be designed was the logo, which incorporates the figure of Atlas the giant in a “shoulder patch.” Bodybuilding magazines provided inspiration for the giant’s pose. I am indebted to the client for the slogan “Standing worlds above the rest.”

Atlas brochure. This was photographed at several Atlas client sites, including the Washington, D.C. Armory and Parks Department, the Oak Hill Reformatory, and in front of the U.S. Capitol, all of which required permission letters, special parking permits and tight scheduling. One of an intended series of ads/flyers about Atlas services. Theft of meat and other perishables is a serious security concern. The pun in the headline leads into text describing the company's success at breaking a meat-theft ring.

Literature pocket folder designed to hold Atlas corporate materials and proposals. Cover image is a photomontage of security officers, clouds and city map.

Interior of literature pocket folder. Pocket runs vertically for better holding; diagonal slits hold business card.
